Louvre Abu Dhabi - Dragon & Phoenix Exhibition

The Louvre Museum needs no introduction, but their new exhibition did.

The Dragon & Phoenix is the untold story of how China, ‘the dragon’, and the Islamic world, ‘the phoenix’, exchanged ideas between 8th and 18th century. In this exhibition you see a new perspective on the meeting of two great cultures, and the remarkable similarities that can be seen in the artifacts from both.

For the visual treatment, we brought together Chinese and Islamic artifacts in a way that highlights & celebrates the similarities. The result was a series of unique visuals that we used across print, digital, social and on-site media.
